Jonathan Akin is Lead Pastor of the Valley Station Campus of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Jonathan has a BA from Boyce College, where he also teaches part time. He has received an MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently working on a Phd in OT at Southern. Jonathan is married to Ashley, and they have a beautiful little girl named Maddy.

Nathan Akin is the intramural coordinator for Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Nathan has a BS in Political Science and a Social Sciences teaching degree from Murray State University, where he also played basketball (Go Racers–
The 30th best basketball program since ‘85 according to espn.com). Nathan is currently pursing a Masters of Divinity in Christian Studies at Southeastern. Nathan is uncle to a niece and nephew with a new nephew on the way.

Jed Coppenger sells cell phones for Verizon in Louisville, KY. Jedidiah has a BS in Business Administration from North Greenville University, just graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a masters in divinity, and is currently pursuing a Phd in Systematic Theology at SBTS. while continuing to work for Verizon. Like Nathan, Jedidiah played basketball in college, hopefully bringing a knowledge of athletics to this blog. Even though his program wasn’t the 30th best basketball program since ‘85, NGU has never been beaten by Murray State University! Jedidiah is married to Melanie and they have one son, Josiah, who is almost 6 months old!

Nick Moore is lead pastor at the Spencer County Campus of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Nick has a BA in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in the School of Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Nick is married to Kyndra and they have three children, Jacob (3), James (2), and Elizabeth (3 months).

Ronnie Parrott is the Minister to Students at the Valley Station Campus of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Ronnie has a BA in Youth Ministry from Boyce College and is currently finishing a Master’s of Divinity in the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ronnie is twenty-seven years old and is married to Marci. Ronnie and Marci have a seventeen month old son named Jack.

Scott Wilson is the Minister to Students at Christ Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Scott has a BA in Music from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Scott is currently working on a PhD in Systematic Theology at Southeastern. Scott is twenty-eight years old. His wife’s name is Megan and they have been married for two-and-a-half years. They are expecting their first child in February.
