I believe Dr. Wright is on the right track. There seems to be a lot of overlap between the Local Association, the State Convention, and the National Denomination. I think the wisest place to trim budgets is at the State level, especially since the Association gives the local church the personal contact and technology gives the church any information they may need. I also like his suggestion that the IMB receive the bulk of our money.

I also really like what Dr. Wright said. What he said about Church Planting and NAMB sounds great. I really love the idea of Gospel-centered Church Planting. The Gospel transforms lives, cities, and everything… I am actually looking to help a friend named Jason Hampton hopefully plant an Acts 29/SBC church called Redemption Hill in Indianapolis, IN. He’s been a church planter in residence at The Point Community Church under Rick Long in Frankfort, KY for over a year. I’m curious to if there’s any contacts you could give me. We’re looking for partnerships… Thanks and God bless.
