On October 16th through the 18th, the Pillar Network will host their prime annual event, the Unite Conference, in Raleigh, North Carolina. For those unfamiliar with Unite, this conference provides the opportunity for planters, revitalizers, pastors and seminary students from all over the country to gather for several days of fellowship, biblical exposition, networking, refreshment, worship, and insight. If you have a heart for planting or revitalizing, or if your church is exploring how to be more involved in these practices, you’ll want to consider attending this event!
CONTENT
Dr. Danny Akin will headline a special panel hosted by Baptist21. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy multiple, interactive breakout sessions, led by pastors and in-the-field planters from across the nation. Some topics covered include:
• Replants & Revitalizations
• Pastoral Leadership
• Preaching
• Mergers
• Finance & Administration
• Collegiate Ministry
• Missional Hubs
• Biblical Counseling
• Worship Ministries
• Small Groups
There will also be several events and breakout sessions specifically geared towards pastors’ wives.
While Unite covers a wide gambit of subjects, the primary theme for this year’s conference will emphasize persevering in the ministry. Given recent events, it is important for us all to reconsider what it means to be a spiritually-healthy follower of Christ, for the good of our families and ministries.
